Ten Seventy is a suspension lamp, featuring several elongated, tubular lights that areĀ suspended vertically, seemingly enclosed within a larger, open geometric framework. The design is inspired by the beauty and didactic nature of light, with all its decadent history, it hones in on light as a meeting point, providing visibility and creating a beacon of comfort, safety and serenity. The design is primarily fabricated using an additive manufacturing technique of 3d printing sand. The multiple linear lights provide a bright and focused light source, using LED technology due to their slim profile. The overall aesthetic is minimalist, with clean lines emphasising form and function working in conjunction with each other to create the perfect balance.

JOYH is a creative design studio based in Vienna, focusing on material research and leveraging computational tools as we continuously explore pioneering methods to redefine the architectural domain.
